About two weeks ago I binged watched seasons 1 & 2 of Beauty and the Beast plus the available episodes of season 3. To be honest, I was surprised I liked the series. A friend had recommended it and I was kind of expecting one of those cheesy CW shows. However, it turns out I really enjoy the show.
There are spoilers ahead so be forewarned.
Quick recap of this season: this season has been all about Vincent and Cat finally being able to be together out in the open. They moved in together and Vincent proposed. Last week, they were on their way to get married (Cat was halfway down the aisle) when the newest beast to cross their path struck. After their wedding day was ruined, Cat decides she’s done chasing beasts.
Now Cat is insistent that she is done chasing beasts, but just a couple weeks ago she was saying how she and Vincent were destined for something more. I don’t know if I can believe that she’s really done.
I love that even her friends don’t think she is truly done and decide to hold an intervention for her. JT even goes so far as to take Heather to visit Cat’s dad to prove that she can’t quit.
I was really surprised to find out that Cat’s dad is now on board with the whole his daughter in a relationship with a beast tracking down other beasts. When did this happen? Not too long ago he was doing everything he could to discourage and stop their relationship and now he’s upset she’s quitting?
This episode was pretty pointless. It can be summed up into: Cat wants to quit chasing beasts, nobody else does, some bad stuff happens, and she finally realizes she has to go after the beasts because no one else will. Find out what happens as they continue to fight other beasts here.
