Final Fantasy XV Delay Confirmed By Square Enix

Note: You’ll probably need to turn on subtitles as the audio is in Japanese.

In a video posted on their YouTube channel, Square Enix confirmed the reports that came out last week that Final Fantasy XV would be delayed till November 29th, 2016. The game’s director, Hajime Tabata discussed the game in the almost six minute video stating that the game needed to be delayed to provide the best quality product for customers. Tabata goes into a little detail discussing how the game would need a Day One Patch that would be quite substantial and would require all players of the game to have an internet connection when putting the disc in.

Final Fantasy XV is one of the most highly anticipated games of 2016 and was originally scheduled to release to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 15th, 2016.

Be sure to check out the Master Quast Podcast this week as Bubba, Ricky, and Chad will be discussing our thoughts on the two month delay of this game!
