Injustice 2 Gameplay Trailer

Just a few days ago, NetherRealm revealed Injustice 2 with a short but sweet cinematic trailer which showed off the new big mechanic for the game, which is armour upgrades and character customisation. Today a new trailer has been released, this time giving us a nice chunk of gameplay, it is really does not disappoint.

The trailer was shown during the ESL Mortal Kombat XPro final, and shows us new faces Atrocitus, Gorilla Grodd and Supergirl, as well as returning names Aquaman, Batman and Superman. The fighting comes heavy and hard, and shows us that not only do enviromental transitions return, but so do super moves, and they look bigger than ever. Superman and Aquaman show off the best glimpses of their Super Moves, as does Atrocitus.

Armour Modification was briefly shown, only for a moment and a quick shot of Black Manta was also shown, as he was dishing out some punishment on Aquaman. Does this mean he is playable, or is he just a cameo character, much like Croc, Riddler, Penguin and Two Face in the first game, when they were apart of the environmental transistion, dealing damage to whoever was the unfortunate party.

Injustice 2 comes to us on PS4 and Xbox One in 2017.
