It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia – Renewed for Season 13 &14

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia has been renewed for a 13th and 14 season. That means that we will get AT LEAST 3 more seasons or It’s Always Sunny considering that we just finished up season 11 a few weeks back. Season 11 may not have been the absolute best, but it was a very strong season.

What’s most surprising is that these guys can continue to produce some of the funniest television ever created. Even the comedy in episodes from a decade ago are still great. This show, of course, was created by Rob McElhenney and some of his friends before they sold it to FX. The show was saved after the first season aired on FX, and it was saved before FX was planning on canceling the show before Danny DeVito signed on to play Frank. DeVito kept the show afloat just long enough for everyone to realize the genius behind the madness. What McElhenney, Glen Howerton, Charlie Day, and Kaitlin Olson do in this show completely overshadows almost every other TV comedy. Some of their best work came in season 11, and now we get at least 3 more seasons.

Just as Film Shady, our latest podcast on the CinemaShelf Podcast Network, has said in the past, this is one of the best shows to not only rewatch, but to watch watch with friends.

We highly Recommend this show, Seasons 1-10 are currently streaming on Netflix. Be sure to check it out! This, by the way, is not an April fools joke! We promise!
