…It’s not great.
In case you’ve been out of the loop, Mighty No. 9 is somewhat of a spiritual successor to the original Megaman series, created by Keiji Inafune after leaving Capcom. A few years ago there was a kickstarter to fund the project, which successfully reached it’s goal after only two days. The game has also, unfortunately, run into problems regarding developer communication and several delays in the release.
More recently, a new trailer was released for the game, which has been widely ridiculed for just being a mess overall. Personally, I think the actual gameplay shown looks good, but the commentator can only be described as “cringe-worthy”.
