The first half of the Bachelor in Paradise finale left us all in shock after Carly and Kirk (the “strongest relationship”) broke up. Now we are left with four couples and four potential fantasy suites.
Props to Cassandra for wanting to be a role model for her son and keeping the relationship on a slow path and foregoing the fantasy suite.
However, Tanner and Jade aren’t going slow, Tanner just told Jade he loves her! And she said it back!
Each couple has their own individual rose ceremony.
Justin and Cassandra start things off by exchanging roses in an effort to see what the future holds for them. I don’t feel like anyone was really surprised by that.
Nick finally gets his dream girl and Sam gets her knight in shining armor.
Next up is Tenley and Joshua and I honestly don’t know how this one is going to go. Joshua told Tenley that he wanted to try and see what the future would hold for them. However as much as she liked him she didn’t see their relationship moving forward without one of them having to give up a big piece of themselves.
Joshua took the breakup pretty well and still helped her to her car. I feel bad for both of them because they were two of my favorites and I thought they could make it work.
Last up are Jade and Tanner. The strongest couple left in paradise. Unsurprisingly (in my opinion at least), they are the couple that gets engaged.
In case you didn’t stick around for the video that played as the credits rolled, JJ didn’t win back his dream girl and is available on Tindr. There was also a lovely crying montage of Ashley I. who is still obsessed with Jarod who is still obsessed with Kaityln. What a creepy little love triangle.
Paradise is over and I really hope Jade and Tanner make it in the real world. I think they have potential to make it work. Until next time!
